I want to thank everyone who came out to my book signing at the Sheraton Hotel Madison last Friday night. They did an incredible job of handling the people who came, bought books and provided drink and food specials that were delicious! My friends and I got to stay on the 7th floor for the weekend, and before the book signing was over, the Sheraton came out with a gorgeous birthday cake!Matthew, Nikki, Allison and Gillen were so attentive and helpful. Once the signing was done, a small group of us were taken to the Roth Room on the 7th floor of the Sheraton. The pictures will eventually be featured on the outside walls in the hallway for everyone to enjoy. I am truly humbled to be a part of it. I can’t thank everyone enough for making the entire weekend a complete and total “Van Halenized” event! We didn’t throw any furniture out the window, but we were up drinking absinthe until 5:30 am. Luckily no heads were smashed in an elevator door, not that we didn’t consider it.
“We opened our hotel yesterday after a three month closure and we wanted to do something to celebrate the reopening of the hotel and also celebrate Stampede.” said Sheraton Eau Claire general manager Cole Millen.
Hello Cole!
Congratulations on your reopening, and good luck with your celebration. Did Stampede stay at your hotel and did they trash any rooms? 🙂 Cheers, Susan
